Design Story

The composition is strictly symmetrical: a crowned shield carrying the interlocked LA monogram, framed by a gold-toned laurel wreath and anchored by a ribbon banner reading LOS ANGELES DODGERS with EST. 1884 beneath, closed by a small baseball at the base. Cream fills the centre field while royal blue runs down the side gussets and vertical pinstripes, so the palette resolves into three tones only - cream, blue, gold. That restraint is what makes it read cleanly from across a room.
